Where did I say that? I have no idea whether he is an immigrant or not, nor does it particularly matter to me, because I don't find the idea of someone being an immigrant to be any sort of slight on their character. I'll reiterate that I can't think of any reason for you to say "lovely
" other than considering it to be a negative. You wouldn't, for example, say "So you assume because he has medical knowledge he must be a doctor? Lovely
