The time travellers get the boot...

The housemates have to pass yet another 1847-based Task to earn their luxury shopping budget. By this time Big Brother's chores had lost their shine, as Carole, Gerry, Tracey and Ziggy were given an hour to polish rather a lot of shoes.

"Let's do the crap ones first," Ziggy suggested.

"Are we buffing as well?" Carole asked.

Gerry wasn't impressed. "Carole, we've got 300 shoes here!"

"The wardrobe department'll be pleased!" the social worker quipped.

The four scrubbed, polished and wiped in silence, breathing heavily and looking rather resigned to their task.

"Shall we tackle the big ones - the bad boys first?" Ziggy asked.

"I'm doing the bad boys first," Tracey confirmed.

Shall we give them a bit of spit?" the hunk asked.

"Don't waste your spit!" Gerry joked, never a stranger to innuendo.

"Filthy - but I like it!" Ziggy drawled, as Tracey laughed it up.

Ziggy then gave Gerry a run for his money: "Kind Sir, kind Ma'am, I'd love to polish you," he purred to Gerry and Carole.
