A tale of two boxers:

Muhammad Ali

He had a fervent desire to win and to have fame and fortune. He achieved GREATNESS - not just by realising his ambitions, but by the MANNER in which he did so. He graced us with his inimitable boxing skills AND endeared himself to us with his decency, dignity and humour.

'Iron' Mike Tyson

He had a fervent desire to win and to have fame and fortune. He achieved his ambitions - becoming the youngest Heavyweight Champion in history whilst doing so. He thrilled us with his devastating punching power, but his nasty and vicious temperament, and his vile conduct - both inside and outside the ring - marred his considerable achievements in boxing, and alienated great numbers of boxing fans.

In any 'Game', there HAS to be 'Game Playing'; a strategy which embraces a degree of 'acting', of adopting and projecting a 'false' persona, and even of 'one-upmanship', because winning is virtually impossible without such tactics.

But it really is NOT - and NEVER should be - strictly ALL about the WINNING.

Nasty, deceitful, vile, selfish people, are FAR more likely to exhibit nasty, deceitful, selfish, and vile traits in the BB House as part of their strategy, ONCE their 'facade' crumbles with time - as it ALWAYS does - and their REAL ugly selves become exposed, and as their tactics for winning become more desperate.

Jason may well BE the 'GREATEST' game player of all time, but if so, then he deserves TWO awards, one for his acting prowess, and the other for his choice of strategy.

Because, Jason has NOT elected to deliberately PHYSICALLY hurt other HM's by bullying them, intimidating them, or by being threateningly aggressive and confrontational with them- and let's face it, he has all the physical tools to successfully adopt such tactics had he chosen to - nor has he elected to PSYCHOLOGICALLY and EMOTIONALLY hurt them, by ridiculing them, lying about them, or trying to belittle them or destroy their reputations.

Jason is NOT perfect - who is? - but ask me if I prefer Muhammad Ali to Mike Tyson, and I will ALWAYS plump for the former.
