GERRY and Jonty were in their element this afternoon – when they HAD to wax lyrical about history.
Big Brother called the two most "historically knowledgeable" housemates to the Diary Room as part of this week’s Time Machine shopping task.
After Amanda initially leapt up, not knowing what historically knowledgeable meant, history boffins Gerry and Jonty raced to speak to Big Brother.
BB asked them 10 questions about history – of which they had to get 8 right to pass the task.
The boys moaned to the others afterwards how they had to wear silver spandex suits while answering questions such as: "What year was The Great Fire of London?" and "What are the Seven Wonders of the World?"
"We looked positively hideous," Gerry complained.
And despite being quick to drone on about the past to anyone who'll listen, the two history "boffins" say they failed the task with only seven correct answers.
