Hmmmm, i have cataracts in both eyes, my optician has advised me to leave it as long as I possibly can before having them done as they can come back.
You can't just keep having it done over and over so you could end up blind.
Perhaps this could be the reasoning behind delaying the ops.

Edit, it's not the cataract that comes back, but the same symptoms from clouding of a little sac behind the eye.
Interestingly I have just found out this can be fixed with a five minute procedure.
Might have a rethink about getting mine fixed now.
