That just shows though that Bear is a controversial figure and Aubrey a bit of a non - entity. People talk more about those very much in the spotlight, it's always been the same, nothing to do with favouritism in most cases.
I agree that the HM's who witnessed her spitting in his meal shouldn't have let her serve it, no way.
