****ing hell, I was there yesterday afternoon. Must have already happened as the cordoned off area was already in place and there was a big police presence. I didn't know what had happened though. It's so scary. I was near Russell Square the night of that knife attack too. I don't normally get scared by stuff like this but that's twice in the last few days now and it's honestly making me not want to go outside
You don't expect stuff like that to happen in Westfield though, it's full of kids and families and loads of people around etc, and they have plenty of security on a normal day
So sorry for the victim of the attack, must have been terrifying!
