I didn't say it was "terribly offensive", hence stating that he didn't really say anything that alluded to him being racist in the house, and thus noting that it was odd that he specifically mentioned "having black neighbours" in his tabloid interview. Pondering if maybe there was something else said that he was warned for, that wasn't included in the broadcast.

I said it was "a bit suspect", which it is, because it has those usual connotations; "others", "different folks", "not like us", -- "Those people"
