No, Liam's always said from the beginning that he was finding it hard to come out of his shell for whatever reason, but wasn't going to force anything. He's obviously becoming more comfortable in his surroundings and the people he's living with so his personality is coming out more, but to suggest he was hiding aspects originally would be wrong; he's always been a bit cocky and a bit cheeky, it's just more often now that he's more relaxed, in my opinion.
