Perfectly sums him up and how and why the others would not enable or overly react to his antics. It's what he needs to be of any real interest. Either an enabling crew or the knowledge he can cause reactions which show others in a negative light. Showing no reaction to his infantile pranks changes everything eventually. The pranks in isolation with no reaction would become tumbleweed moments. I don't think the others will totally manage it and I doubt Renee will but without any reaction, he is a very tedious man child.
