Not at all.
He obviously took the feedback on board from his stint on BB US (where most people thought he was an obnoxious prick!) and has toned it down a bit.
To be fair we haven't really seen much more than about 10 minutes of him so far. I'm sure he'll get much more annoying the more we see of him.
