I think you are getting a little confused when you say that its the bores that are boring, talentless, wannabees when you are actually describing the rat pack members to a tee.
As for the remark about "vengefulness" wouldn't you plot to bring down the juvenile yobs when they appear to be taking over the house and making the others experience in their a misery.
