See I think a lot of people are looking for a "DC Avengers" but we already have Marvel for that? I enjoy both sets of films and I like that they have a different tone. I also think if they didn't, it would be inevitable that people would make too many comparisons / start accusing them of copying each other, etc.
Weirdly the tone seems to flip with the at shows though - the DC shows are pretty cheerful / colourful whereas the Netflix Marvel ones are pretty brutal... Not a lot of laughs there. I mean I thought Punisher was amazing in Daredevil but some of his scenes are jaw-clenchingly raw

That said, Agents of Shield is pretty campy...
