There's no difference in the level of fakeness with those two. The difference is control of it. Frankie is in people pleasing default setting and he is fake when he is charmed into Bear's close proximity. Be it the den or Bear asking for a hug. Sometimes when Bear demands a hug, he has already delivered diary room speeches regarding hm's fakeness. I feel it's a clever tactic to show them up further to the viewing public.
