...he's said how much he's missed his mum and they seem to have a close relationship..(he also didn't get the family/friend contact a little while ago that the others got...)...he knows that he's played a game/he knows that his game would bring controversy and negativity and was I suspect happy/relieved that in being how he has, hasn't in any way disappointed his mum etc....
