It's just the idea that you would even script a scene that opens the possibility of them doing more of that. Add to it the lack of any rules for noms now, the twists that seem to be designed to work against certain people, evictions without public votes and even changing what the rules of a vote are in the last hour (Marnie/Chloe eviction), and it really has hit an all time low.

Ricky wasn't talking about alcohol! he was saying they would have to wait and be told what to do, which could understand if he said that at 11am as they might have a task? But at midnight do they need to be told what do to do?
