Spoiler:

So now that he has won, are we now the minority? I don't know if the edit can be entirely blamed. I think some of us are watching must be watching a different show and have different reasons for staying tuned in. Though this forum obviously skews one way, Bear won... so obviously there's a section of the viewing population that skews another (unless it's completely and utterly rigged)

Shows like the Bachelor have only gained a stronger following whereas C5 has over-tweaked BB, even going as far to rig the vote (with Bear's continuous warning of warnings).

My premise for creating this thread...deeper discussions is what increases and builds a stronger base, i.e. leads to a bigger budget, better shows, more ratings. A bigger badder BB would make everyone happy. I was curious where everyone sat in terms of how discussable they felt the series has been for them. It's not really about whose favorite HM is who and meant to slight Bear's fans. What's interesting to you and I may not be someone elses cup of tea, but there are plenty of shows that aren't much deeper than a puddle intellectually speaking still that inspire a following and are discussed thoroughly by that fanbase...

I don't like the Kardashians, but plenty of people LOVE THEM and watch the show in the US and it has a huge following in the media. What the biggest BB fans and Kardashians have in common are that they like to see how each of their favorite "characters" on the shows trend... it's the social experiment aspect of having access to media/twitter, etc I guess.

Feel free to add more to your response.
