I notice when certain people are not punctual, so I usually tell them to come sooner rather than later to accommodate. I am good host like that
I'm the punctual type I guess. Most parties we are the first ones to arrive.
Meeting someone somewhere and them getting there late would be annoying, but hubby is usually with me so it's not so bad.
There is good reason to show up late sometimes. Like if you barely know anyone at a party and don't want to feel awkward being the first ones to show and have awkward conversations. Sometimes you get to know people better if you're early, but it depends on the occasion.
