I mean I do understand why you may not want 'spammy' posts to count, but the point still stands - it isn't a post count unless all of the posts you've made count towards the total.

I have never got the 'it encourages people to spam!' argument though. Does anyone really do that? Does anyone really care that much? And if they do, spamming is against the rules anyway so just infract and/or ban them? That seems a lot easier that discounting entire subforums which essentially renders the 'post count' pointless
