wasn't legitimate love (because he was a bit of a douchebag in reality)... I was just really excited to have someone around to he around in "that" way... my first love was at 16. We got along well despite his clinginess because he was such a good person... I broke it off after six months when I knew there was no real future... I wonder about his well-being from time to time and if his overdue phonebill ever got paid...
Long phone calls were the thing when I was a teen... texting was for plans and such.... if it isn't at least an hour, it's not worth calling. Had a few friends who opened up on their credit for a cell phone when that had just become widespread and this one friend who brought in his 150 page Cingular phone bill that was $400+
due the next day. What can I say about Texans... we like to talk.
A lot. I tried using 2-way radios instead once with a friend, but then someone at the Ship Channel down the block cussed me out in
Spanish because we kept using the squelch like noobs so we didn't try that again...
I really miss my white cordless phone and answering machine on my second phoneline. It's good to come home to hear a familiar voice after bull****ting all day at school... (because let's be honest, I didn't study...) and hear boyfriends when that was going on
