Speaking of injuries, another thing I miss is health and safety being much more relaxed in a weird way!
Our park became basically derelict and the roundabout was just the steel bars without the wood on it. We used to go as fast as we could on it just standing on the thin steel bars... if we fell off we would have snapped our legs without a doubt! We didn't think about that  |
I know, right? Our local park has all that soft foam stuff on the ground now.
