It's weird, even LIDL doesn't have cheap peanut butter, I've seen it for around €5 mostly.
When I lived in Ireland it was easy to find a jar for €1 in lots of places. The cost of living and minimum wage are much lower here too so really the peanut butter seems ten times more expensive.
