Why on earth wouldn't the production company have discussed the possible move with Mel/Sue/Mary etc before agreeing anything with CH4? This could end up being a massive fail for them. Isn't Mary one of the biggest draws? She's the one I hear getting talked about all the time when people discuss the show. Good for her anyway. I'd imagine she will have been offered a great deal of money to stay so it's quite heart warming (and probably unusual in the TV industry) that she's based her decision on loyalty
