Absolutely. Both the experiment I watched and that Talk fiasco (it was The Talk, I always mix it up with The View
) treated it like some form of female empowerment (the example from The Talk was even more unsettling because it was such a savage act and the first response was to laugh and basically act like he probably had it coming
).
While these sentiments are still around, I find it impossible to deny that prejudice against males exists. It does and the evidence is there, and acknowledging that doesn't in anyway invalidate the struggles that women face themselves.
