I've never liked the idea of the housemates choosing the winner when they have the perfect opportunity to just bus someone if they personally dislike them or vote with their hearts not their heads. You always get bitter jury whereas this way I actually think the better person will be rewarded. |
If you make it to the end and the jury doesn't vote for you to win, then that's through your own fault, not the jury's. There are no guidelines or regulations as to how one should or shouldn't vote, so if you want to win it's your job to manage the jury to the best of your ability and give them reasons to vote for you.
As for whether I'd prefer a public vote vs. a jury vote for the winner, I don't really care and I don't think a public vote would be
that bad? Like, just compare the last four AFPs to the last four winners.
