A Note Of Dissent

I have a truth to tell Hog
And I hope you do not gloat
But I'm so old and skint now
What is a five pound note?

Hah, But I'm only kidding Hog
But that, you should already know
And yes, I've seen a new fiver
With that little, see through window

They may be more forgery proof
And the new design more sleek
And we can SEE through those windows
But can the fiver see US through the week?

For, with everything getting dearer
And wages growing ever more small
Apart from buying a loaf and some Spam
A fiver's good for feck all.

So to close my dear friend Hog,
I only really have this to say:
Government - feck designing new notes
Just give us MORE of 'em in our pay.
