I just don't get this woman at all, and I cannot understand the virtual worship of her.
I agree with a lot of what the author of the article says, and think that 'Honey G' is a persona created as the musical equivalent of Sacha Baron Cohen's 'Ali G' - except 'musical' she most certainly ain't.
She is not 'funny' either, and the fact that she has progressed through this 'joke' of a 'competition' to the stage where she is now - at the expense of genuinely talented singers - means the REAL 'joke' is on us.
I totally agree with Brother Leon; "Bit of a joke that the show has never bothered to have an actual talented rapper on the show like the USA version, yet have given us this joke."
