5 After Midnight - (6/10)
I thought they were ok but definitely not worthy of a standing ovation. Miles better than last week though.
Emily Middlemas - (7/10)
A nice sweet arrangement of the song but I found it a little John Lewis ad song rather than a winner's performance
Four of Diamonds - (5.5/10)
It's nice to see them back. However, the performance wa underwhelming and I was expecting to be blown away but found the harmonies overpowered their strong vocals. I think in time they could find their identity as a girl group but this performance seemed a little naff.
Freddy Parker - (4/10)
I don't know why Nicole is giving Freddy these upbeat songs that are too big for his voice. I prefer him when he's at his piano as his soulful tone soars beautifully. I feel like they are taking him down the wrong direction as an artist. The performance wasn't good enough.
Gifty Louise - (8/10)
A great performance and much better than last week. It was great to hear her voice rather than it being overpowered by the backing vocalists. She's back in the game.
Honey G - (3/10)
I loved Honey G last week and I could finally see what all the fuss with her was all about. I found the performance this week not as exciting as previous. I'm feeling like she's a one-trick pony maybe.
Matt Terry - (9/10)
This was again an amazing performance and I felt it more this week than last week. His powerful vocals and crazy vocal range are effortless. He makes it look so easy.
Relley C - (9.5/10)
I have to say that Relley is coming out of her shell now. She actually has a really powerful voice and it showed with this performance. Usually she hits a couple of flat notes but she stayed consistent throughout. The act of the night for me easily.
Ryan Lawrie - Superstition (2/10)
To sing a Stevie Wonder song you've got to have soul and gravel in your voice. Ryan has neither. The only good thing about him is that he looks the part and he's finally had a haircut but his vocals were really weak and I don't see how he's got so far in the competition. He could be at risk of elimination after that.
Saara Aalto - River Deep Mountain High (4/10)
I feel as though she would do better representing Finland on Eurovision. For me she's not right for the competition and the song was too up-tempo for her and I couldn't understand what she was saying. She also doesn't have a stage presence that stands out for me me. She seems unlikeable
Sam Lavery - Hello (6.5/10)
This was in a much ifferent league to last week. I thought she murdered the song previously but she came back fighting this week and is back in the game. Some pitching issues throughout but still a pretty solid performance
