Lana built up a fame of being the survivor of Briarcliff and losing her (murderous) child in childbirth - she wrote a book on her experience with a lot of the truth warped. Lana was interviewed by some TV personality and gave an exclusive, revealing the truth of what happened, with flashbacks of her documentaries of Briarcliff and giving her son away etc.

I can imagine a similar ending to this season, with Lana being the interviewer rather than the interviewee, so on the opposite end, and the Roanoke survivor giving the 'true' story with flashbacks.
