Carol Vorderman has refused to deny she is set to appear in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The smash-hit ITV show will be back on our screens this month, and the former Countdown star is hotly tipped to be part of the line-up.

She joined Jamie East on Tuesday morning, fresh from hosting the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night and, when cheekily asked by our host if she was heading Down Under with Ant & Dec and co, she replied: “I can’t say… I can’t say.”

She added: “I can neither confirm nor deny current media rumours, whatever the statement says…”

Jamie, though, was having none of it.

“That was a yes, wasn’t it?” he insisted at the conclusion of the interview.
