Default Big Brother 9: A Week-By-Week Plan And House Plan (week three)

Week One

Day One (Wednesday)
14 housemates, consisting of 7 men and 7 women enter the Big Brother House. Once the 14th housemate has entered, Big Brother asks for 13 housemates to come to the diary room, leaving one left in the house. Once the thirteen are in the diary room, they are told that collectively, they are the unlucky thirteen housemates.
Big Brother tells them that this year, there is no prize fund. Instead, housemates must, over the series, earn a prize fund. The winner will win however much money they have earned over the course of the series. As the unlucky thirteen housemates, each of their prize funds stands at £0.00. Big Brother tells the thirteen housemates that the fourteenth housemate, who is the lucky housemate, has now safely got £100,000 in their prize fund. Seeing as the maximum amount of money that can be earned over the series is £150,000, the lucky housemate now stands a chance of winning £250,000. Big Brother explains that all thirteen of them will face the public vote this week.
Once they leave the diary room, Big Brother calls the fourteenth housemate to the diary room, and tells them that they are the lucky housemate. Big Brother explains what the other thirteen were told, and then also explains that, as the lucky housemate, on Monday, he or she will secretly nominate two housemates, who will face the public vote – until Friday night, all thirteen housemates will believe that they are up for eviction.

Day Two (Thursday)
The lucky housemate is the only housemate to receive their suitcase – although he or she can choose three other housemates to also receive theirs. The remaining ten housemates must battle it out in two teams of five in a task based on the game show “Gladiator”. The losing team are told that Big Brother will give them one item from their suitcase every day during their stay in the house.

Day Three (Friday)
A new housemate enters during a live show – they are the opposite sex to the lucky housemate, and when they enter, they AND the lucky housemate are called to the diary room, where they are told that they must now share the title of the lucky housemate. This means that they receive one secret nomination on Monday, and both have £50,000 in their prize funds. However, Big Brother explains that being lucky housemates come at a price – after their secret nominations, the unlucky thirteen housemates will be asked to choose one of the lucky housemates to join them up for eviction.

Day Four (Saturday)
Housemates are given a task, as the Saturday Live tasks are back. Any winning housemate wins £10,000 towards their prize fund. Today’s task is to correctly predict the order that the housemates are in intelligence, emotional stability, and how Machiavellian they are. Any housemate that is standing in the right position (ei 1st, 2nd etc.) for any of the three wins £10,000.

Day Five (Sunday)
The housemates spend the day doing whatever they wish.

Day Six (Monday)
The two lucky housemates are called to the diary room at random times in the day, and asked to give their nominations. In the evening, the thirteen unlucky housemates are called to the diary room and asked to choose one of the lucky housemates to face eviction with them.

Day Seven (Tuesday)
The housemates spend the day doing whatever they wish.

Day Eight (Wednesday)
Big Brother throws housemates a party to celebrate that they have been in the house for one week – however, the unlucky thirteen housemates must choose only five of them to attend, leaving eight to spend the night locked in the bedroom, where Big Brother has set up a jigsaw puzzle that they must complete in order to not receive a punishment (Big Brother gives them 999 pieces of a 1000-piece jigsaw so that they cannot pass)

Day Nine (Thursday)
The eight housemates who failed to complete the jigsaw are given a punishment – they are all tied together and must remain like this until the eviction the following night.

Day Ten (Friday)
In the evening, Davina tells the housemates the three housemates who have been facing eviction, and then announces who has been evicted. They leave, and Davina gives viewers that now, no housemates are either lucky, or unlucky – although two still have £50,000 extra. She tells us that tomorrow, one housemate will go to the diary room to find out that it’s their birthday…all week.
