The one positive I will say about this season is that I have no clue who wins.
HOWEVER, this isn't because the editors are doing a good job with the edit (they aren't), it's because they're hardly editing anything with any continuity. There's such a difference between last season when everyone was trying to figure out whether Michele or Aubry wins (or even Cydney. And even Tai could've had a decent argument made for him), and this season where nobody has a strong edit whatsoever. The only Winner Edits we had going into the merge were Michelle (lol) and Ken (who hasn't been featured in the past three episodes now), and every other edit is ridiculously flawed.
It's not even just an edgic thing, but even know do we really know Bret or Chris or Will or Sunday as people? Jessica too really? Even the people that we do "know" a little bit better like Adam, Jay, Zeke, and David, we only really know them from a game perspective. The editing this season is just really hollow and empty and it's hard to care about anyone. Not to mention storylines just abruptly starting and stopping without any justification. I don't even think we've seen Jessica and Sunday interact at all, but now we're just supposed to accept that they don't like each other and are secretly scheming against each other. Ken had a strong pre-merge edit and now we haven't heard from him since the swap. I doubt we're even going to be reminded about the Legacy Advantage until Jessica is booted. IDK, this season's **** and I can only say that in so many different ways.
