Don't expect any logic from big companies
. The bookmaker's current situation is ridiculous - for over a year they've incentivised shop staff to sign customers up for online accounts, specifically targetting Football customers on a Saturday as a major focus. And now they're like "Umm why are you getting less turnover and fewer customers on a Saturday?
". I don't think companies actually understand that by moving customers online, they don't magically start selling more of their product... the same money is being spent! Just in a different place!
