And peoples personal details can always be misused, whether it's the tax office, or your HR department, or the many other places and people that could potentially access your personal information, but like Dezzy said there'll be safeguards here like there is for those other places, it isn't really a new thing that agencies can access information on you though (and you can always make sure you don't share your personal information over the internet if it's something that does worry you).
