I think most agencies here you have to request these kinds of records... I don't think they can just read your information whenever they choose, but really I don't know. Though that doesn't mean they don't have a backdoor written into their system for law enforcement or something. I'm sure some need records so often, they do for subpoenas maybe... otherwise they would have to have a dedicated phone # or something.

Though when you apply to law enforcement, they check your social media... my husband had a new friend he'd never heard of called "Case Worker"... click the link and it does nothing. An imaginary friend.
