Hell hath no fury like a Spice Girl scorned, so you can bet this guy who dared mess with Mel B is going to suffer the consequences.

The GEM bandmate took to social media in the early hours of Saturday (November 26) to ask for the help of her hundreds of thousands of followers in catching the thief who broke into her car this week.

She even went as far as posting CCTV footage of the perpetrator in the act to help fans identify him, as well as pledging a $5000 reward to anyone who can help.

"I have a 5 thousand dollar reward to anyone who know's this ass hole," said the singer on Instagram. "I don't care who was involved I want this guy caught."

Mel goes on to tell followers to message her husband Stephen Belafonte if they have any extra information.

"The police are investigating," she added, "but I need your help NOW right on my own door step in Los Angeles Beverly Hills."

The incredible footage shows the unknown figure smashing her back window, and pulling a number of items of luggage from the car.

And since the incident was caught on CCTV, Mel's confident they'll find the perp soon.

"Neighbour by neighbour we are going to track you down. The police already have a good idea who you are," said Mel in another post.

Scary Spice on a mission? We don't fancy the thief's chances.

When she's not fighting crime, Mel B currently has hands full with both preparing for a run as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway later this year, as well as re-joining forces with Geri Horner and Emma Bunton for a not-quite-the-Spice Girls reunion.
