That was so kind what he did for Carole, and he made the decision easier (even though it DID spoil the twist!).
Carole treated him like crap all week, and he still did that for her. Even though it was probably also for his own reasons, such as the lack of food, it was still a rather nice thing to do for someone as awful as Carole.
I still don't like him though!
