I'm in two minds about the finale. Love the Ford/takeover stuff and how that's working out, because it's actually interesting.
BORED TO ****ING TEARS over the William/MIB/Dolores stuff, though. That reveal was so tedious. And the purpose of it was what? Build up the Hosts as believing they're gods. So basically season 2 will be the AIs taking over. Which hasn't at all been done to death in popular culture
Idk I just really wanted to watch a compelling drama with storylines that actually went somewhere and made sense, instead the whole season's effectively been another "mankind is horrible!1!" rant from JJ Abrams. I'm sure it's made sense to some who've analysed every other scene for the tiniest of clues, but I refuse to believe anyone actually believes the William presented in episodes 1-8 just happened to turn out to be a bit of a nasty s

there's more fantasy in that being a legitimate character arc presented by the show than in any of its premise.
Outcome was fun enough... but I just don't really have any motivation to bother with season 2.
