Doing business with a country does not mean you support them. France sold Argentina the Exocet missile during the Falklands conflict, missiles which killed some of our troops. Does that mean that they support Argentina and are no longer our ally? And are we going to hear you moan about France for that, and hold them accountable for the war? No of course not.
