I don't agree with him about GM being fleeting
however I do think we should be celebrating people while they are alive, we should have days dedicated to the greats of music, TV, movies rather than endlessly playing their songs when dead, we should have learned especially after this year that we shouldn't wait for people to die to pay them some respect
