I see, it was all Tracey’s fault, was it?
Well I’d be interested to know exactly when Tracey became the official decision maker in all affairs concerning Amanda and her day to day life, and to what extent Amanda uses the decision making process of her brain, at all, because the way you put it, it would seem none of Amanda’s actions are attributable to the girl, herself.
The fact that Tracey is even a factor in this is yet another black mark against Amanda’s name (Merchant? Mercenary? Stringing a boy along for a possible £100,000? Derogative deleted?). It is particularly poor conduct from anyone to allow the opinions of others to dictate one’s behaviour, especially where matters of emotion are concerned, but it’s also interesting to see the way Amanda uses people as a shield to bear the brunt of her unacceptable behaviour. Sure, the pink haired, catchphrase spouting goblin is more than happy to give her opinions, you might even say conceited, by the way she thinks her opinion is of such importance that she can’t even sit on the fence once in a while (there’s a time and place for it, after all), but it’s up to Amanda to not adhere to such triviality.
Amanda is most likely just using Tracey (for the cameras), fishing for the answers she (Amanda) herself is already aware of, so the heat is off her when she makes the break up that was always on the cards, once Brian had been reeled in, enough.
