That's not how TV ratings work... they have software installed in 5000 or so households and use the data from those households work out an "average" in order to put together the viewing figures. If you are not in one of those 5000 households, whether you tune in or not makes zero difference to the viewing figures.
It is impossible to "detect" how many people are tuned into an over-the-air signal like Sky or FreeView, let alone to determine whether or not the signal is being recorded or watched live.
