Agreed; if they want to go down this route of having a "mix" of public opinion evictions and evictions by other means... then they need to switch to free online voting.
You'd also get a better representation of public opinion, for evictions AND winner, in my opinion... because certain demographics who enjoy watching the show will still NOT pay to vote for anyone. I haven't voted by phone for 10+ years but I would vote on every eviction if it was a free online / app poll
