Even the movies he was in were small roles
. I'm not saying he's a bad actor, he's probably a more skilled actor than PLENTY of actual Hollywood A-listers, but that's not really the point. He has had a long, successful "working career" and there's plenty of merit in that, but it's a simple fact that he's not a "Big Star". Being honest... upon first hearing the name "James Cosmo", how many of us immediately knew who that was? It was only after I googled it and said "Ooooh, Jeor Mormont!" that I had any idea who he was
. Also, before CBB, if he'd walked up to my counter to place a bet on the 3.15 at Wolverhampton, I wouldn't have known the difference between him and any other white-haired punter
