It's a great move on Channel 4 and BB's part. The format is in need of a good rest and by the time next May comes around people will be wanting some Big Brother goodness.
It also gives time for the producers to put some proper effort in, hopefully change the rules. I'm hoping that's what the experimental BB will be, a way to test new rules, perhaps making it more into a competition, where the winners of tasks get to nominate, the housemates decide who is evicted and also everyone is allowed to discuss nominations, that way it encourages more game play and strategies. If this is a success then adapt some of these rules into the new BB9 series.
