Default Food poisoning horror [My Story]

And I still pretty much feel like ****

On Friday night me and my friend ordered food from a hotel, it was a place we were familiar with and have ordered from there several times but we haven't had it for about 6+ months.

We ordered on just-eat and had an expected delivery time which was 30 minutes after placing the order. We waited a further 30 minutes AFTER the order was due so were waiting for a total of an hour, I then got a phone call from someone saying that they were on their way and will be 5 minutes so I made my way down to the hotel entrance.

I waited in the freezing cold for almost 10 minutes after the phone call, a car pulled up with a random white couple inside, I thought they were guests going into the hotel until they got out the car with my food in a bag, I was like "oh". I didn't tip (I always tip)

The reason I mentioned they were white is because I ordered Caribbean food and I know the place is run by 100% black people, including the delivery drivers. If they were taken over by new management (including kitchen staff) it should of been clearly stated on their just-eat page

Anyway, the food wasn't packaged well, everything was horrible. We were so hungry and tried to eat what we could but it was so horrible like, even talking about it now is making me feel sick, we both felt really bloated after and I knew something wasn't right.

During the night/early hours of the morning I kept waking up feeling sick, at one point I thought I was going to throw up, my friend also wasn't feeling 100%, the rest of the day I spent at home sleeping, I couldn't stomach anything apart from fluids and a bit of fruit.

Yesterday (Sunday) I still felt horrible and my friend informed me that they felt worse and ended up being violently sick.

Today, although it's slowly wearing off I'm still nowhere near 100%, so I was thinking about confronting them about it, their restaurant isn't far from my house and it's really messed up my weekend. My friend from Uni who I haven't seen in forever was down for the weekend and I couldn't meet up with him because I was so ill.

What would you do and do you think I should confront the restaurant?
