Jason's Final Day Chat

Jason visited the Diary Room this afternoon to reminisce about the last 10 weeks in the Big Brother House and to discuss its impact on him.

Asked how he's feeling about the final day in the House he perkily replied, "Excited... looking forward to finding out what's happening tonight... who's gonna win this show... that's the big event."

But he insisted that it wouldn't be a disappointment if he didn't win. Being in the House on the last day was achievement enough.

And to celebrate his final day, he planned to pamper himself with the beauty goodies provided by Big Brother.

Talking of his turbulent time in the House, Jason expressed his joy at evading eviction and was pleased that he hadn't quit - but admitted that he had found it hard going at times.

"Big Brother decides your moods... it's up to you to sort of combat that and it's been tough for me," he revealed.

Unsure how he had made it to the final week, he suggested that male viewers could identify with his grooming routine - in particular shaving his chest - or if not identify, they would perhaps find it amusing.

Groomed to perfection?

"My grooming routines have got a lot to do with why I'm probably still in here to be honest," he speculated.

And his time in the House has had a significant effect on the Scot. Describing it as tougher than being in the Navy, he believes that he will now appreciate life more.

"I'll just remember it with fondness... it was a godsend for me," he stated and then revealed that the experience had given him breathing space to re-evaluate himself and his life.

He said he had become more patient and is now motivated to change his career path. Laughing, he told Big Brother that he would be more mature and serious in the future.

However, there were things he wouldn't miss - and said he would remain in contact with only four or five housemates.

"That's just the way life is," he said simply and was adamant he bore no grudges.

But he refused to be drawn on who he would not see outside the House and deflected the question when asked.

"Big Brother," he responded, "I don't like to be controlled... I'll be free again".

That you will.
