Going to be totally honest here and say that, in my experience, it's the opposite. The male and female brain works differently; females (in general, not comprehensively!) involve emotion more in day-to-day reasoning than males do. The result of that is that females are
more passionate about subjects they get involved in and believe in, but hand in hand with that, take it
more personally when the things they believe in are criticised or opposed.
