To be fair I disagree anyway. God / gods are not real but a true belief in one can embolden people to do some
seriously crazy ****. ISIS leaders are non-religious but without "God", they wouldn't have an army at all. The knights of the crusades were some of the most determined warriors in history, driven by belief. "God" pushed poor young lads over the trenches to certain death. "God" is still evoked to bolster courage in Western militaries today (especially the US). The
illusion of a God and an afterlife is very useful in war... it doesn't seem to matter that he isn't literally "real".
