I didn't say her behaviour would be seen as acceptable with today's audience, of course not. She's really lucky she wasn't in BB8, otherwise she would've been thrown out for some of her comments.

My original point was in regards to how she's tame in comparison to some of the C5 villains we get today. Compare her to the likes of Conor, Helen, or even Caroline and she's nowhere in the same league, imo anyway. Also worth mentioning that the people I mentioned all lasted longer than Grace, two of which even walked out with money. Her behaviour would garner Ofcom complaints and she'd get a ton of warnings as a result but that wouldn't be surprising given how oversensitive viewers have become.
